Our Approach for Children
We combine Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to create personalized treatment plans. Our therapists model essential skills and provide guided practice opportunities, using positive reinforcement tailored to each child's needs. We build on existing strengths while addressing growth areas, embracing a whole-person, assent-based approach. This method allows us to tackle both behaviors and underlying factors, ensuring your child feels comfortable and engaged throughout therapy.
Adolescents Ages 12-19
Is your adolescent:
-
Struggling to keep up with responsibilities?
-
Spending too much time on their phone?
-
Dealing with peer pressure or life transitions?
-

-
Having difficulty regulating emotions?
Adolescence brings unique challenges, from external pressures to internal struggles. Our therapy offers a fresh perspective for teens who may not have found success with traditional counseling methods.

Our Approach for Adolescents
For teens, we blend Clinical Behavior Analysis (CBA) with ACT and ABA principles. We develop individualized plans to address specific challenges, focusing on building mindfulness, self-care, and emotional regulation skills. Our therapy emphasizes psychological flexibility, crucial for navigating adolescent life. We work collaboratively with your teen, respecting their autonomy while providing necessary guidance. Do you diagnose?
No, we do not diagnose. We will refer to local providers for psychological evaluations if we see signs of specific diagnoses.
Do you take insurance?
We are credentialed with some third-party payers. However, this does not guarantee services will be covered. Generally, a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is often required to receive ABA Therapy services. We can verify your insurance benefits before we get started!
